Companies
We've Worked With
xynoMedia
represents the culmination of decades of consulting for
Fortune 500 companies. We worked exclusively for 'them'
until one day, we had a hunch that smaller businesses
could apply these same principles, on a smaller scale,
and really win. And, we were right.
Since
1997, we have been helping business owners just like you
clear hurdles, get "fit" and grow.

Construction
Companies
|
|
We
help forward-thinking construction companies escape the
rut of using technology just to get things done and start
leveraging technology to drive a larger competitive wedge
and reduce operating costs so they can offer more competitive
bids.
Case
Study:
A $9 million-dollar construction company needed its project
managers and leaders to have access to documents and specs
while in the field. We helped them to strategize and implement
a mobile business solution that everyone could live with.
Results? Their project managers were able to spend 35%
more time in the field, which led to more projects meeting
completion deadlines thereby increasing owner satisfaction,
decreasing stress levels for everyone in the company as
well as decreasing overhead by 17%.

| Small
& Micro Businesses |
|
We
help small business owners find the time, energy and money
to work on the business, as opposed to working
in the business.
We
mainly focus on using Web 2.0 technology (blogs, podcasts,
online marketing, etc.), business automation applications
and e-commerce to increase their client base, generate
awareness and boost revenues.
Case
Study: A branding expert needed to re-engineer her
business so that she could take more time off and stop
trading time for money. We helped her to implement a better
e-commerce strategy, refine her blog and flesh out her
online product offerings. Results? We increased her sales
by 400%.

just didn't have enough hands to do the work that
xynoMedia did for us. We needed to turn the task

"I
was looking for major media coverage but
didn't want to invest thousands of dollars into
working with a public relations firm.
Then
I remembered being introduced to Lena West of xynoMedia
Technology. She mentioned that her company solved
business problems using technology. I called her
and explained my goals of increasing my media coverage.
She suggested that we run a series of Google Adwords
campaigns.
Her
team handled the entire process. They decided
on ad topics, researched keywords, wrote the ads,
set up the account and even monitored the progress
for two whole weeks.
About
three weeks later, I received a call from a producer
for ABC's "The View". They were having
a pet trends segment and were looking for a pet
expert. They booked me for the show and I got close
to 5 minutes of airtime. When I asked the producer
how they found me, they said Google!
It
would have taken a long time to pay for the exposure
that I got by being on The View. Thanks xynoMedia!"

| Client
Must-Haves |
|
They
must be ready to make a change, devote resources to make
that change and absolutely, deadly serious about improving
for the long haul - we won't take on a "band-aid"
client if they are not willing to address their long-term
situation once the crisis is averted.
They
must make a decision-maker available. We don't work by
committee. We deal with one reasonably-available point
of contact and that person must be a decision-maker.
They must not be whiners. Change is tough but, winners
are tougher. They must be able to get over it and press
on.
They
must let us do our jobs. Feedback is great. Suggestions
are welcomed. But, you hired us for a reason, let us be
the experts.
They
must strive for excellence - not perfection - but excellence.
They
must be involved and willing to co-create a successful
project. If they don't return phone calls or email in
a timely manner, it's not going to work.
They
must be honest and willing to "open the kimono".
We handle confidential information for clients all the
time. Our reputation is on the line so everything is confidential.
We cannot help a client effectively if they feed us untruths
or distortions.
They
must be ethical. We will NEVER help a client break the
law or "slide past" a mandatory regulation.
They
must be financially stable. We cannot work with a client
if they are worried about meeting payroll or securing
funding. Get financially solvent and let's resume talks.

| Who
We WON'T Work With |
|
Clients
that want a 'yes' team. We'd like to be clear here. We're
here to help and sometimes that can hurt - believe us,
we know. We will respectfully challenge you to think bigger
and better about your business and sometimes that means
working through differences in approach. We're fine with
that. Are you?
Clients
that don't want honesty. See above.
Clients
that want a long-drawn out consulting process. We don't
want to set up shop for an eternity. Our discovery and
diagnostic process is focused. When we're done we
know how to go home.
Clients
that don't recognize the strategic, competitive and common-sense
value of IT.
Clients
with political environments that rival the presidential
elections. This isn't high school and we're not
worried about being picked for the dodgeball team. We
want to help our clients, not walk on eggshells.
We respect your team, you respect ours. Deal?
Clients
that whine and complain about problems but when faced
with the solution won't do what it takes to effect change.
Clients
that don't have "the right people on the bus"
and refuse to do anything about it. We can work with you
to develop and implement the best strategy in the world
but, if you have personnel issues be prepared to face
them head on as your company starts improving.
Clients
that want to keep their heads in the sand. If you
don't think there's room for improvement and growth, why
call us?
Clients
who start every sentence with, "But, we tried that..."
Maybe you did but, hear us out, ok?
