We
understand business AND technology. Many consultants
don't take the time to really examine how the client is
currently using technology or what their business goals
are. We know that with every technology improvement, it
will affect your operations in some way. We identify what
that effect is, bring it to your attention and if it's
within our realm, we make suggestions on how to address
it.
We
don't "set up shop" for an eternity. The
chief complaints about consultants is that they take the
first month to understand the client's business. Well,
we're not trying to be experts in your business. We need
to know the basics and we believe in co-creating successful
projects with our clients. If something isn't going to
fly because of some obscure industry nuance that we're
not privy to, we'll rely on you to say "this is great
but, this isn't going to work because...".
We
like the "thrill of the kill". We want to
get in, address the issues, repair what's broken/get you
back on track, help you create a plan for the future,
and offer your management/maintenance or regular "check-ups"
and move on.
We
stand behind our work. Our services net you greater
results, greater benefits, and greater measurable return
on investment than any other product or service you could
purchase. We believe this whole-heartedly stand behind
it. We are committed to earning your trust and satisfaction
in the process of working with you. When you work with
us and follow our recommendations to the letter, we fully
expect that your business will operate more smoothly and
you'll be operating from a proactive standpoint - not
reactive. If, after diligently applying our expertise,
that doesn't occur starting the moment the project is
complete, you are entitled to a 100% refund.
We're
also strategists as well as implementors. There's
nothing worse than being told you need to do something
and then the consultant doesn't have the resources to
implement their own suggestions. We think that's unconscionable.
Return
on Investment (ROI)...we're always focused on the bottom
line. If there's a better way to do it, we'll find
it. And, if you already possess the technology to implement
some of our suggestions, we'll know that, too. We've saved
our clients tens of thousands of dollars by identifying
their needs and noticing that they already have the technology
needed - they just had to re-use or multi-purpose something
they thought only had one use. We're good a ferreting
out multiple-solutions using existing technology.
We're
future-thinkers. We think it's stupid to implement
a technology solution and have to revisit that same solution
a year later simply because you've grown. We provide you
with technology solutions that will grow as your business
grows.
We're
un-biased and product agnostic. We don't have quotas
to meet so we're going to recommend and ultimately implement
the solution that's best for the client. If an open-source
solution is best, we'll suggest it. We're not scared of
helping you to be CAREFUL early - and alternative - adopters.
We
focus on benefits, not just features. We think it's
great that we'll come and walk through a client's office
when doing security audits. We think it's BETTER that
a client's bottom line is boosted by our work. That's
what counts.
We
listen. Many consultants watch the client's lips move
and do what they want to do anyway. If the client says
an approach won't work (and can "prove" it)
we listen, probe, adapt and start looking for other solutions.
We're a blank slate. We don't believe we have all
the answers. We don't have pre-set solutions or "packages".
We believe that if we walk in thinking we have all the
answers, our minds are closed to alternate, money-saving
solutions and with that mind set, we can't possibly offer
the client all that's possible - we'd just be offering
what's in our brains..and we don't know everything.
We
speak in "plain talk". No vague tech jargon
here.
We
know clients have budgets. Many consulting firms will
promise that their work will be on time and within budget.
Good projects that have lasting value ALWAYS change timeframes.
That doesn't mean 2 years later but, timeframes do change.
Budgets should not.
